Craftastic Party Studio
Craftastic is a 2,000 square foot craft party studio in Plainview, owned by two local moms, with more than 10 party themes to choose from, including canvas painting, slime making, Stuff A Bear, tie dye, plaster painting, graffiti, jewelry and candy sushi. Parties run 90 minutes for 12 kids plus the birthday child, with at least two party hosts, games, pizza and drinks, and add-ons like face painting and cotton candy. On school breaks and days off the studio opens for walk-in paint and play, with crafts starting at $25 and a chalkboard wall, lava tiles and a Lego wall to play on while projects dry. Walk-in hours are posted on their Instagram and Facebook, and weekends are usually booked with parties. Craftastic also runs a summer art camp and mini camps, sells take-home craft kits, and hosts scout and PTA events.

Families can enjoy the 1901 Grill restaurant for lunch and dinner, relax at the bar, and take in views from the covered porch. The clubhouse and course are also available for family celebrations and group outings.
Rolling Oaks is an 18-hole executive golf course in Rocky Point, a Brookhaven course open to the public, with a par of 65, several water holes and uneven terrain. Plenty of trees shape the layout, with challenges for almost any player from the low handicapper to the beginner. A full-service golf shop carries equipment, gloves, balls and apparel.
