Harbes Farms Jamesport is the Harbes family's farm on Route 25 in Jamesport, open on fall weekends. Families come for Honeycrisp apple picking, a themed corn maze, sunflower fields, jump pads, hayrides and live music. Entry is by farm admission, priced per person, and children 2 and under are free. In season it is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Harbes also has an orchard in Riverhead and a farm in Mattituck.

Harbes Orchard is the Harbes family apple orchard on Sound Avenue in Riverhead. In fall it offers apple picking, pumpkin picking, a themed corn maze, kids' activities, and live music on weekends and holidays, and admission includes an apple bag and a tractor pulled wagon ride through the orchard. In season it is open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. On select October nights the corn maze reopens after dark as the Spooky Night Maze.
Holzman's Family Farm is a family and pet friendly pumpkin farm in Riverhead on the North Fork where you pick pumpkins on the vine. Fall weekends bring a corn maze, a kids' hay maze, hay rides, barrel rides and cornhole, plus crafts like pumpkin decorating and sand art. Entry is $5 for ages 3 and over and includes the corn maze, hay maze and lawn games; hay rides, crafts and pumpkins are priced separately. In season the farm is open Saturdays and Sundays and on Columbus Day from 10 AM to 6 PM, weather permitting. Food includes fresh grilled corn, hot dogs and apple cider donuts, and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
Woodside Orchards' Aquebogue location on Main Road is home to its hard cider tasting room and offers pick your own apples on weekdays in September and October. You buy a bag on site and fill it in the orchard; outside baskets are not allowed, and you can pay by cash or card. On weekends the tasting room is open for tastings and baked goods while picking moves to the Jamesport orchard on Manor Lane. Pets are not allowed in the picking area.
Shelter Island Country Club, affectionately known as "Goat Hill," is a historic nine-hole public golf course established in 1901 and situated on one of the island's highest points with scenic views of Peconic Bay. The course welcomes golfers of all levels and offers golf carts, pull carts, and club rentals, plus a driving range to warm up before play. Families can enjoy the 1901 Grill restaurant for lunch and dinner, relax at the bar, and take in views from the covered porch. The clubhouse and course are also available for family celebrations and group outings.
