Craftastic Kids Summer Art Camp

Craftastic Kids Summer Art Camp is a weekly art camp at the Craftastic party studio at 1163 Old Country Road in Plainview, for kids ages 6 and up. The 2026 season ran July 6 to August 13 in weekly sessions, Monday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm, at $280 per week. Each 2026 week had its own theme: Mosaic Makers, Camping Fun, Lego Art & Play, Video Games & Characters, Sweet Creations (painting desserts, making candy sushi and decorating cakes) and Your Artist's Passport, and each week wrapped up with a Fun Thursday of crafts, games and pizza. Camp Good Mourning!

Camp Good Mourning! is a free overnight weekend camp for Long Island children and teens ages 7 to 17 who are coping with the death of a parent, primary caregiver or sibling. Kids who lost a close extended family member who lived with them, like a grandparent, aunt or uncle, are welcome too. Camp runs in the spring and fall at Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island, a short ferry ride from Greenport or Sag Harbor, from Friday at 4pm to Sunday at 4pm. Campers get a real camp weekend, with a low ropes course, a gaga pit, fishing and basketball and volleyball courts, alongside support groups led by trained professionals, including mental health counselors, social workers, psychologists and grief specialists. Registered nurses are at camp around the clock. The camp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donors, grants and local businesses cover the cost, so it is free for families. Children can come back for more than one weekend, and families apply through the camper application on the camp's website.

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is an American Camp Association-accredited day camp dedicated to serving children and adults with disabilities, ages 6-50. The camp operates year-round with specialized summer programming featuring weekly themed sessions from June through August.
