Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA operates separate overnight camps for boys (Camp Becket) and girls (Chimney Corners Camp) plus a coed day camp on 1,400 scenic acres in the Berkshire hills of Western Massachusetts. The camps serve grades 2-11 for overnight programs and ages 5-12 for day camp, with specialized programs including Adventure Odyssey, Construction Cabin, Riding Cabin, and Travel & Service options. Overnight tuition ranges from $3,195–$12,875 depending on program and session length; day camp sessions cost $345–$445 per week. The camps emphasize building confidence, developing leadership, and creating life-long friendships through outdoor experiences and community.

Camp Good Mourning! is a free overnight weekend camp for Long Island children and teens ages 7 to 17 who are coping with the death of a parent, primary caregiver or sibling. Kids who lost a close extended family member who lived with them, like a grandparent, aunt or uncle, are welcome too. Camp runs in the spring and fall at Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island, a short ferry ride from Greenport or Sag Harbor, from Friday at 4pm to Sunday at 4pm. Campers get a real camp weekend, with a low ropes course, a gaga pit, fishing and basketball and volleyball courts, alongside support groups led by trained professionals, including mental health counselors, social workers, psychologists and grief specialists. Registered nurses are at camp around the clock. The camp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donors, grants and local businesses cover the cost, so it is free for families. Children can come back for more than one weekend, and families apply through the camper application on the camp's website.
Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is an American Camp Association-accredited day camp dedicated to serving children and adults with disabilities, ages 6-50. The camp operates year-round with specialized summer programming featuring weekly themed sessions from June through August. With accessible facilities including a pool and splash pad, the camp provides recreation, social engagement, and support tailored to individuals with special needs. A $200 deposit per camper per session is required, with scholarship opportunities available.
Summer Streeters Day Camp at Sid Jacobson JCC brings the best of the JCC community to a camp setting, serving children from age 3 through Grade 10. The program offers flexible half-day and full-day options with activities including swimming, arts, cooking, dance, drama, gaga ball, and travel camp experiences. Campers enjoy the heated pool and diverse enrichment programming designed to engage children across multiple age levels.
Summer at the J is the Friedberg JCC's day camp for children entering kindergarten through 6th grade, held at the JCC at 15 Neil Court in Oceanside from 9 am to 4 pm with extended care available. The camp strives to provide an inclusive camp experience and runs a separate inclusion track for children with disabilities ages 5 to 13. Older kids entering grades 7 through 10 can join the L.I.T. leadership program at the same site. The Friedberg JCC is also a partner agency in Island Quest Day Camp at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds.
