NLOE Fall Model Train Open House

Nassau Lionel Operating Engineers operates one of the Northeast's largest O-gauge model railroad layouts, featuring 2,800 square feet of detailed scenes across four main lines, a mountain line, subway lines, and a working trolley. Visitors of all ages can watch thousands of feet of track in action, from steam engines and freight yards to a carnival with a working Ferris wheel, a Sunshine Biscuits Factory modeled after the real Long Island City plant, and even a Cold War-era rocket launcher. The club hosts multiple open houses throughout the year, including fall and holiday weekends with free admission.
