Lev-IT Baseball and Softball
Lev-IT Baseball and Softball is the volunteer-run, nonprofit Little League for kids in the Levittown and Island Trees school districts. Its spring intramural season runs from April into June, with divisions by grade from T-ball for Pre-K and kindergarten up to a high school Senior Division, plus girls softball divisions. Teams usually practice Monday and Wednesday evenings and play one weekday game and one Saturday game. The Shining Stars Division is open to children with learning or physical disabilities. Players who want more can try out for the Patriots travel baseball and Force travel softball teams, and players 9U to 12U can try out for the Little League tournament teams that play toward Williamsport. The league offers financial assistance, and its field list includes Fred Neist Field, Redwing Field, Azalea Road Park and MacLaren Stadium in Levittown.

UST FC Academy is the youth soccer club run by Ultimate Soccer Training of Kings Park. Players start in Cozy Feet, an intramural program for boys and girls ages 3 to 8 with a training day and a game day. From there they move up to the Pre-Academy, which builds core technical skills and game understanding, and then to the Full Academy, whose boys teams train three times a week and compete in the NYCS EDP League and the USYS National League, with tournaments through the year. The club also runs specialized clinics. It has no single home field. Training and games use school fields, town parks and indoor gyms and turf in Kings Park, Smithtown, Commack, East Northport, Elwood and Huntington Station, so check with the club for where each program meets.
i9 Sports Long Island runs youth sports leagues and instructional programs in Suffolk County. There are no tryouts and no drafts, all skill levels are welcome, and everyone plays in every game. Programs meet one day a week, with practice scheduled right before the game, and the coaching emphasizes sportsmanship. Kids are grouped by age, from age 3 up to 15 depending on the sport. In the fall there is Saturday soccer and baseball at the Veterans Multipurpose Field in Selden. In the winter there is indoor flag football on Sundays at Sportime in Kings Park, with coed and girls divisions. The program has no home field of its own and the sports and locations change by season, so check the program finder on the program's site to see what is running near you.
Releve Dance Centre is a dance studio on Montauk Highway in Blue Point, established in 1992. Classes start at age 3 with Intro to Dance, a ballet and tap combination class for preschool and kindergarten dancers, alongside a Hip Hop Tots class for young dancers through age 6. Ballet and acro begin at age 6, and jazz, tap, hip hop and lyrical classes run from age 7 through the 11 and up group. Past the intro years, classes are placed by ability rather than age across beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, and the studio says it limits class size so each dancer gets proper attention. The program is meant for recreational and serious dancers alike. The studio also has a competition team, with auditions by invitation only.
