The 9 at Merrick Junior Golf Programs
The Kelley Brooke Golf Channel Academy runs junior golf programs at The 9 at Merrick. The Pee Wee program is a six-week indoor putting and games program for ages 4 to 5, with all equipment provided. Junior Golf 101 is a six-week, one-hour-a-week introduction for novice golfers ages 7 to 14, covering putting, chipping and full swing with games and challenge weeks. Intermediate and advanced players ages 10 to 16 can join the Junior On Course Playing Series, four weeks of guided play on the course. An off-season indoor program for high school players of all levels works on swing fundamentals, launch monitor feedback, short game drills and the mental game; it is not a beginner class. Boys and girls can also play PGA Jr. League, with 13U and 17U teams open to all skill levels.
