Brookside County Park is a historic waterfront property featuring natural beauty and excellent birdwatching opportunities, with over 118 bird species documented on the grounds. The park includes scenic walking areas along Green's Creek, which empties into Great South Bay, and beautiful rhododendron gardens planted throughout the property. This former estate, built in 1897, is managed in partnership with the Great South Bay Audubon Society and offers families a peaceful natural setting for outdoor recreation.
