Cammann's Pond Park

Cammanns Pond is a 5.8 acre pond set inside an 8 acre park in Merrick, with roughly 2,850 feet of open shoreline and a maximum depth of about five feet. Families fish from the bank for white perch and American eel, and the state describes the open shoreline as a good place for local kids and their parents to try to catch a few. Boats are not permitted, so everything happens from shore. Regional freshwater fishing regulations apply.
