Camp Hero State Park

Camp Hero State Park offers 415 acres of diverse landscapes including pristine maritime forests, freshwater wetlands, and dramatic ocean bluffs along the Atlantic. Families can enjoy year-round hiking, biking, bird watching, and picnicking, with additional seasonal activities like surfing, windsurfing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The park also features an historic military installation registered as a National Historic Site. Note that swimming is not permitted.
