Garvies Point Preserve

Garvies Point Preserve is a 62-acre nature preserve along Hempstead Harbor featuring a museum with exhibits on regional geology and Native-American archaeology. Families can explore five miles of marked nature trails through forests and meadows, spot over 140 bird species, and enjoy educational programs and summer day camps. The on-site museum offers changing exhibits and birthday party hosting.
