LIU Post Community Arboretum

The LIU Post Community Arboretum is a 20-acre nature preserve featuring over 110 labeled trees representing 62 species, formal gardens, rolling lawns, and more than 50,000 spring bulbs. Families can enjoy self-guided walking tours lasting 30 to 45 minutes that wind past a historic Tudor mansion, academic buildings, a babbling brook, a memorial garden, and a student-created labyrinth. The arboretum showcases some of Long Island's largest and most unusual trees, including a 105-foot tulip tree and a century-old Blue Atlas Cedar.
