Pine Neck Nature Sanctuary is a 77-acre preserve where pine barrens forest meets Shinnecock Bay's shoreline. Families can explore a marked loop trail that takes about an hour to hike, traversing forest and salt marsh before reaching a scenic viewpoint overlooking the bay. The sanctuary is excellent for birdwatching, hiking, and photography year-round.
