Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge

Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge offers families nearly six miles of scenic trails through Pine Barrens forests and along the Carmans River, plus an interactive visitor center with ecosystem exhibits and a discovery touch table. Kids can participate in FREE programs like the Junior Refuge Manager program and Virtual Geocache activities while spotting white-tailed deer, osprey, foxes, and numerous bird species throughout the 2,550-acre refuge.
