Wolf Swamp Sanctuary

Wolf Swamp Preserve is part of a large protected natural area in the Peconic Bay region that combines freshwater and salt marsh habitats. Families can explore diverse ecosystems including red maple swamps, oak-beech forests, and freshwater pond shorelines while observing native wildlife like osprey, dragonflies, and waterfowl. The preserve, located across the street from Big Woods Preserve, offers walking trails through centuries-old forests and along Big Fresh Pond.
