Taste Buds Kitchen Cooking Camp Smithtown

Taste Buds Kitchen runs cooking camps at its kitchen studio on West Main Street in Smithtown. Summer camps are five-day weeks of three-hour days: a morning camp for ages 4 to 8 (9:00am to 12:00pm) covers measuring, mixing and working safely in the kitchen, and an afternoon camp for ages 9 to 13 (1:00pm to 4:00pm) moves on to recipe reading, knife skills and burner skills. Campers make sweet and savory recipes each week and take home food samples and recipe packs. Most camps can be booked by the week or by the day, and early drop-off and late pick-up are available for an added fee. The camp page also lists an advanced teen camp for ages 13 to 17 at select locations and a counselor in training program for ages 10 and up, so check the Smithtown schedule for those. School break camps for ages 4 to 13 run on days off during the school year, as one-day or five-day camps. All menus are nut-free.
