What to know

Most of the December dates we found fall in the week after Christmas, December 28 through 30 or 31, 2026, with one running through January 1. Check the hours before you count on a camp for a workday: some run a full day, while the art and cooking camps are half-day sessions of two and a half to three hours. School calendars differ by district and spots are limited, so confirm the dates against your own district's calendar and register with the camp directly. Several of these also run on one-day closings in November and over February break.
