Muttontown Preserve

Muttontown Preserve is Nassau County's largest nature preserve, spanning 550 acres of fields, woodlands, ponds, and historic estate grounds. Families can explore miles of marked nature trails to spot local wildflowers, trees, birds, and wildlife, with maps and brochures available for self-guided tours. The preserve features historic sites including the Chelsea Estate and Nassau Hall, and in winter offers cross-country skiing when weather permits.
