Summer Camps in Huntington
Camp Soundview is a full-day beach camp located on Long Island Sound at Crab Meadow Beach, operating 8:15 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday. The camp offers recreational swimming, arts and crafts, and sports activities for elementary and middle school students. Lunch is not provided, and the camp is canceled on rainy days with no refunds. Pricing is $355 per session with a Recreation ID Card or $550 without; Session I (3 weeks) is $520 or $812.50 respectively.
Dix Hills Adventure Camp is a full-day, town-run program (8:15 AM – 3:45 PM) serving grades 1–8 at Dix Hills Park on Long Island. Known as the premier camp in the Town of Huntington, the program features swim instruction, recreational swimming, ice skating, arts and crafts, sports, and group games across three summer sessions. Extended aftercare until 6 PM is available for an additional fee. A separate half-day Kindergarten Adventure Camp (8:45–11:45 AM) is also offered. Space is always limited due to the camp's popularity.
